fun in the sun

so wow! i just finished typing the most amazing post of all time and the computer desided to die!! so now im going to try again!

yesterday was awesome! we moved into our new hostel, which is no holiday inn but it is very homey and we like it! there are lots of young people walkin around! all very nice! so far anyways! the hostel has a kitchen for us to cook our dinners in and a tv room for everyone to socialize in! its really nice! we will take pics so you can all enjoy it with us! so far we don't have any roommates in our room yet but that little bit of privacy is nice!

so once we were settled in we decide to go for a walk and find a beach, sounds like a easy enough task doesn't it... well its not! we got lost for about 2 hours looking for the sands! until we finally found it! but the journy was definately worth it! the sand was gorgeous and hot and the water clear!! of course at that time we realized we didn't have our bathing suites with us...damn! so we just lazed on the beach enjoying the sun! until i (B) came up with the idea to become mermaids! thats right we are 20 years old! you gots a problem???

it was so awesome! we made mermaid tails out of the sand! we were so dirty after tho but it was totallyt worth it!

after we had our fun in the sand we decided it was time to try and find our way home... turns out that was easier then actually finding the beach! took us half the time!!! and on the way we walked across a movie set! unforuntaly it wasn't for australia 2 so hugh jackman wasn't there... damn.. but stilll really cool

afte we got back to the hostel we sat with the other guests and watched the movie the beach. pretty good movie..

today has been adventuresome as well.

the hostel here provides a free breakfast every mornign! awesome right!!! anyways have you ever heard of vegemit? well its famous in australia, they all love it... so we had to try it because of course it was offered at the breakfast choices so we put it on our toast and took a big bit... and then spit it out!!! gross!!!! it was so bitter and yucky oh man i cant believe they actually like that stuff!!!!

well leason learned DON'T EAT THE VEGEMIT!!!

hey so yesterday was interesting! we had a huge dust storm! it was insane the skys were red! and it was so windy!! people were walking the streets with maskes over their nose and mouth!! scary! they say this is the worst since like 1940!!!! so apparantly you guys have been having better weather then us! but let me tell you ours is only about to get better!! lol and you shall only get worse lol

today we moved into our new hostel and its cool! colorful. so far we dont have any roommates but we are hoping for sum!

hey hey hey! we are having such a great time here! guess what we did today!!! give up? we took the train!! very exciting and of course we got it wrong the first time... we got onto the wrong train! so we ended up going the complete opposite way that we wanted to go! then when we finally figured it out we got to our destination! but their trains are so cool! they have to levels!!! ya!! right!!! iknow!!! and they are undergroud! like you see in the movies! cool huh!! so that was just tot get to our destination. then we got to take our ride on the captin cook cruise boat that took us all over the sydney harbor! its so beautiful! we saw the opera house and big bridge from the water and they took us to the open ocean to see where the harbor starts! the sun was out all day today so we got a bit of sun! oh and guess what the seaguls here are just like in finding nemo "Mine mine mine" lol we were eating fish and chips that we got and they were attacking us it was like they were saying "mine mine mine" the when we couldn't eat any more catie throw them some fries and they swarmed us! we ran after that!!! oh today we put our feet into the ocean! its cold but not glacial like it would be at home! lol we played on beautiful rocks and walked everywhere so you can just imagine how tired we are!! oh and before i forget we saw a NUDE BEACH!!! OMG OMG OMG!! lol and we have already seen more then enough speedos on an old hair guys lol oh and we checked out the public library! so big and beautiful it puts our little airdrie library to shame shame shame!!! love you lots!!!

sydney monday september 21

omg today we had the best day ever! it really hit that we are actually in sydney australia!!!! WE TOUCHED THE SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE! thats right actually touched it!!!! so the bus tour was great it took us all over sydney like everywhere! we saw the marine battle ships and the harbours and the city! the bus stopped at the australian wildlife and aquirem(don't ask me to spell alright!) it was so cool we saw the koala bears and got a picture with them it was crazy they started fighting with each other and they make really weird noises! things you wouldn't expect a koala bear to make! and did you know they mark their territory with a sent off their neck!! they were so cool! then we saw kangaroos and they looked awesome! they just lounge around like they are the coolest shit! (ya i said shit daddy). oohhhhh and catie took pictures of all the spiders and wasted my camera battery lol i have been bugging her about that all day! lol it was funny! oh and they have some huge as butterflyes here!oooooohhhh and i touch a snake!!!!! gross!!! then we went to the aquireum and went in this tube like thing were the sharks and sting rays could swim over us and around us! it was amazing so so so sos osososososoosos coool!!!! after that we got back on the bus and it took us to the opera house! it is so big and amazing!! not as white as it looks in pictures tho lol and we saw the bridge!! we are going to climb to the top of the bridge on wednesday! it was so pretty! IM IN AUSTRALIA!!!! we got a post card we are going to send out to you guys! love love love you tomorrow we get to go on a cruise around the harbour we can't wait!!!!

Well this is it!! We leave in 24 hours and we are getting so nervous! but our bags are packed and ready to go now all we have to do is say good bye.. easier said then done!
